Nordstu is developing a new cabin field on the south-west-facing hillside north-east of Koppang, right beside Tekna Park. The zoning plan allows for 50 to 80 holiday homes, with a ski trail from the door and paths down to the shops, the school and the Røros line. We are in the planning phase. Here we publish what is settled, as it becomes settled.

The place

Facing south-west,
with Koppang below.

The field sits in the pine forest on the hillside north-east of the village, looking out over Koppang and the Vestfjella hills. At the bottom is Tekna Park with its alpine and sledging slopes, the floodlit ski trail runs right past, and the paths down to the village take you to the shops, the school, the doctor and the train. The Glomma runs through the valley below, past the Koppangsøyene islands.

  1. 2019

    First notice

    The zoning plan for the hillside is announced for the first time, then under the name Paa Koppang and with up to 150 units, by Nordstu Koppang Bruk together with the municipal forests.

  2. November 2023

    Nordstu takes over

    New start notice: the area has a new owner, the plan is now called Tekna hyttefelt and is scaled down to 50–80 holiday homes. A new ski trail north of Moravegen is added to the plan, together with the Stor-Elvdal ski club.

  3. 2024 –

    The plan with the municipality

    The plan proposal is being processed by Stor-Elvdal municipality, with a public consultation before the council adopts it. We will update this page when it is adopted.

  4. Then

    The plots

    Once the plan is adopted, the plots go up here — with a map, sizes and prices. Register your interest below and you will hear first.
